In February our Drainage Repair department was launched and now runs in tandem with our CCTV drainage survey team. Not only can MSL Surveys identify defects we can now also offer solutions to problems identified in our survey reports.

Much of the drainage repair work is, remarkably, unintrusive. Using bespoke equipment most repairs can be undertaken with the skill of a keyhole surgeon! Not only is this an efficient process, but it is also neat, cost effective and safe.

Spring of 2021 saw SEP Geospatial deliver a range of specialist surveying equipment to the Head Office. The latest delivery included one-man Total Stations, GPS kits alongside the most up-to-date hand held scanning technology available. With our new FARO scanners our Surveyors can collect more information efficiently and reliably.

This week we have completed a large and complicated survey at the renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

A project which involved coordination between our Topographical, Utility and CCTV departments demanded the highest specification. A PAS128 utility survey in 3D undertaken using a Stream C Ground Penetrating Radar and including post processing.

Logistics on a busy 24-hour site like this are difficult. Night work was undertaken to minimise any disruption and enable our staff to work in a safer environment. Traffic management was also implemented within the highway to protect the work area and control the flow of traffic.
